Please oh please

The Doctor's (NOT) Always Right

Bekasnya pun setelah mengempis menjadi kehitaman.

Setelah 6 jam pemakaian, bengkaknya mereda. Hari hampir pagi.

Sudahlah, Mel.
Nikmati saja upah kengototanmu.

Jadi ingat kata Abang, "Dulu kan juga kamu gak alergi udang, terus tiba2 out of the blue kamu alergi dengan udang."

Be aware that you need x-ray scan all your hand luggage and jackets. If the alarm is beeping, just relax and go to the officer who calls you. Normally they will ask you to lift your arm while scanning your body manually.

    3. Please remind the kids about safety equipment again. If the flight attendant forgot to give you the kid's life jacket, ask them.

  1. ENJOY THE FLIGHT :) :) :) <<<----aseeeeeemmmmm!!!! udah tau gue takut terbang :P

Arriving in Beijing

If you are arriving into Beijing, you will be arriving into the main International Terminal.

  1. Follow the signs/or people at the same flight to Immigration Desk. Prepare your passport and forms. You have to prepare to walk a long distance, on the way there is a stroller you can ride on.
  2. The first desk you will get is Health Statement Desk. Prepare your health statement form and hand over to the staff while you pass through the gate.
  3. Come through the Immigration Desk. The foreigner booths are on your right. Prepare your passport and China Entry Form. The officer will check your passport and take the China Entry Form.
  4. Proceed to collect your luggage on the conveyor. While waiting for the luggage, search for the sign “LUGGAGE TRANSFER” or some kind of it. If I’m not wrong the path is behind the luggage conveyor.
  5. After collecting the luggage, DO NOT proceed to EXIT Door, but proceed to Luggage Transfer Desk. Follow the sign to go to there.
  6. The Transfer Luggage Transfer Desk is similar to Check-in desk complete with weighing conveyor. Once you get there, transfer the luggage. Hand over your Beijing-Dalian Boarding Pass and luggage coupons. They will not give you anything, you just need to hand over the luggage to them and they will do something to their computer to record your luggage and that’s all. Ensure all your luggage coupons still in place.

BE AWARE. Normally at your Beijing-Dalian Boarding pass, there is no departure gate yet. ASK THE OFFICER YOUR DEPARTURE GATE.

  1. After that you can exit. When you exit, do not go to another terminal. KEEP IN SAME TERMINAL.

Be aware that there’s a domestic departures terminal area at the end of the main Terminal which is where most of the local airlines are located. Again beware, that with limited sign, there is an overhead walkway to another Terminal. This Terminal is for Domestic Departure, which is where China Southern Airlines flies from. This is a 10 minute stroll.

DO NOT GO TO THERE, your domestic departure terminal is at the same building as your international arrival terminal.

  1. At the underground floor, there is KFC where you and the kids can have your dinner.
  2. Beware, the Domestic Departures is not well signposted at the international arrival area, so its turn right and then go up to second floor. Left entry is domestic Departure Terminal, and right entry is International Departure Terminal.

Departure From Beijing

  1. Proceed to Domestic Departure Terminal about 2 hours before departure time. The terminal at the second floor, left entry.
  2. Again, do some preparation as before as you proceed to departure terminal.
  3. Go to Security Check Desk. Normally, the queues are very long. Prepare your passports and boarding pass to be check by security officer.
  4. Follow the queue at the X-ray scanning area. Remember to all your stuff including your wallet in the bag, otherwise the officer will ask you to take them out from your pocket and put them into a basket/tray. Prepare to takeoff your jacket to be scanned as well.
  5. If alarm is beeping while you pass through the scanning gate, just relax and go to the officer who call you. Again, normally they will ask you to open/lift your arm while scanning your body manually.
  6. After you passed the security check, collect you hand luggage and proceed to departure gate. Just follow the signs to go to your designated gate.
  7. For some flight, we need to take provided bus to board. If you need to do so, keep the children secured close to you because there is no seat provided.
  8. Please be aware, in the flight Beijing Dalian, there is no meal provided, but anyhow, the flight is only for about 1 hour 5 minutes.

Arriving in Dalian

  1. When you are arrived in Dalian Airport, just follow the signs to luggage conveyor to collect it.
  2. If you are wiling to pay more for taxi fare for convenient and safety, there are some transportation service in airport. Usually their staff will ask you while you waiting the luggage. The fare is vary, depends on the destination. To Shangri-La Hotel, the fare is about 60 RMB only.
  3. It is recommended to take this service, as you bring the children. But you still can take the normal taxi with fare about 30-40 RMB. But, NEVER TAKE an UNOFFICIAL TAXI.
  4. When you passing through the airport gate, prepare your luggage coupons. The airport staff will check your luggage against the coupon.
  5. WELL DONE, YOU HAVE ARRIVED IN DALIAN :) :)

Abang : Hehehehe, makasih, Beib..
Nulis full instruction panjang lebar dalam Bahasa Inggris kayaknya masih mending daripada disuruh bikin surat cinta ya? :))
I know this is your way to show you love me, and I love how you love me ;)

Guilty As Charge

Never feel so guilty when this afternoon while eating an Rp. 40.000,- meal (if you call 3 small size siew mays and 2 mini size lor mai kais are really 'a meal') in a quite posh Chinese Restaurant in Nagoya Hill (hey, it was supposed to be a reward cause I lost 10 kg in 2 months), I saw a family of three, a dad, a mom, and a little girl, and I overheard the Daddy say to the crying little girl, "No KFC for today, Darling." "We've been to KFC last month on your birthday, didn't we?"
